Please don't feed the Nikon haters! We can be quietly proud.

I agree but Nikon has taken a beating by people and everyone jumping ship. I have the D850 600 4s 3s and love Nikon. It will compete with the Sony A1 I read. I cant wait

I am anxious to see how it is accepted. It's not out yet; only in development.

Nikon, unfortunately, is not back again, they are just trying to catching up. And this is coming from a long time Nikon shooter.
The camera reportedly has the focusing speed on the Sony a9II, not the Sony a1.
Nikon still has a ways to go I am afraid.
Yes, the camera will be better than the D6, but again, that is not saying much.
It will either have a 45, 50, or 60 meg sensor, but that is still up in the air.

The speed of the A9II would be fast enough for me & I imagine would do for most if the price is comparable with the A9II. Or match the Canon R5 would help. The focus system Dynamic Range &, low light performance will be what determines its success IMHO. That with the release of a 500-600 mm lens would help them. I agree, it is catch up for now. From a Nikon shooter of a few years.

Where did you get these specs of speed. This camera isn't even out yet. All speculation. Im afraid they will have to compete with the A1 and R5 to stay in the game as this will be their new flagship. Lets wait and see

I believe you will see a Nikon 200-600 and 600 f4 also this year.

I think by the time it’s out Sony and Canon will take another leap forward.

Can you tell us who is 'reporting' that?

When it does happen, it could launch them to the top or number 2.
They have been steadily building the Z line of lenses with the best in class for each focal length and type.
