I watched a documentary on NetFlix about this remarkable woman. Her photos are so far above the norm that they exist in a realm of their own. Wanted to share her with this group.

Would it be considered disrespectful to say that I am not impressed?

Not at all. Each to their own. I was blown away by her work.

Photography is like music. You tell a friend to listen to a song you really like and if the person doesn't listen to the same music you do chances are there not going to like it. It doesn't mean its bad.

I don't really care for this ladies work. Now Tim Tadder, or Joel Grimes... That's a different story. Their work would be more universally appealing. That being said...

Everyone here listens to different music.

Most interesting and quite impressive.
Questioning, exploring with a camera.
Pulls me into an era in my life.
Thanks for posting this!
I will have to check out that documentary on NetFlix.

I wouldn't say that I like it, but I do find it interesting, almost fascinating, and definitely thought provoking. The work does generate an emotional response.

That's what is often said as what art is, work that generates emotion; whether from thought first, or just the raw emotion itself. Thanks for the link.
