The Great Nîmes Aqueduct, truly is Great!

Loc: St. Louis burbs, but originally Chicago burbs
I saw that on a Rick Steves' You-Tube video the other day. I'm going on a tour to France next year for my birthday next summer (fingers crossed), but I'm not sure if we'll be in the area. I've already had two vacations shot down the drain due to COVID - one cancelled on me (Spain last year) and one by me (Ireland this year). I'm thinking of getting a cheap book/CD French language course from Amazon or Walmart so I don't feel quite so dumb when I get there. France, unfortunately, has one of the lowest vaccination rates in Europe and still more than 3M active cases. I hope it gets better!!

Thanks to everyone who gave me lens advice for my jaunt along the 1000 year old Roman aqueduct in the South of France. The photos don't do the engineers justice - they calculated a 12 metre drop over 50 kilometres over ravines and round hills.
Camera: Fuji X-T1, lens Fuji XF 10 - 24, mostly shot at the 24 end. Light fantastic (!) thanks to a strong Mistral.
Very interesting and well photographed.
