And I do mean old
The young girl front near the center, next to the woman in the black hat is my grandmother who was born in 1895. Someone in the family actually did one of those schematics with outlines of the people numbered and a corresponding list of who each person is. Since my grandmother appears to be 5 or 6 years old the picture was from about 1900 give or take a year or 2.

Thank you for sharing this lovel family photo.
I have lots of these old photos. At one time I knew the people in them. Don't think I remember any longer. But some I recognize still.
Unfortunately the older women first row toward the right has someone in a white blouse directly behind her face so she kind of blends into the background
This could probably be improved substantially by post processing. If you don’t do that you can post in the post processing forum and ask for help.
That's an old photo but you can touch it up. my fathers brother sent me a B&W of my parents from wedding from over 60 years ago, I was able to touch it up and print it .
I love old photos. My nonna was born in 1895 as well. The earliest photos I have of her only go back to the to the 1930's. Great stories from that generation. Thanks for bringing me back Jimmy.
Yup, old. 1900 is the year my grandmother was born. Her oldest daughter, my Aunt is still alive & turned 100 last November. It is great that you have a recording of that much family going back that far.

Nice, but like photos of my grandparents from the same era, not a smile in the bunch
The log section, left side of the house was built circa 1780. The right side, Stone section, was built 1865.
The old picture is circa 1888. The young girl, second from the far left was the grand mother of the 90 year old lady that visited us giving us this picture. She was so pleased that the house was still here. She visited this house when she was a young girl and told us some funny stories.
We do have a ghost in our house, it is an old man. I have not seen it but my kids have and some friends and other family members.
The other picture is how it is now. We have lived here for 51 years. We spent 20+ years working on it.
Wonderful keepsake, Jimmy
