Selling this lens because I don't use it. I bought it to take pictures at my son's college lacrosse games. Well, he graduated. Not gonna pick it up again. It is a beautiful lens and only minimally used. It was purchased from Berger Brothers on Long Island. I have a serial number included in the pictures. It is Nikon compatible. Asking $800. What about the G2 do you think is an upgrade? I'm curious, because I shoot my G1 and it's hard to imagine buying a G2 with slightly lesser IQ.
