I've been going through some older scans and found these. Thought I'd share with y'all some folks that have been really important to me. Unfortunately, they are all gone now.
This is Petey. He was a "tripod" but learned to run and jump.

This is George. I'm not really a cat person, but he was a really good cat.

Quirri had one kind eye and one wild eye. And that pretty much describes her.

Sweet memories of animal friends - even the hardest of hard times were worth it. What would our lives have been without them!

True. So true. I've had 7 dogs in my life. Each one was a special companion.

Petey was pretty special. You should have seen his joy when he learned to run!

I'm sure looking forward to seeing all of them again. I've always thought of pets as people.
Pets are usually the best members of the family.
Nice captures and nice memories Kathy. We never had any pets, but that beautiful look of Petey sure makes me wonder how it would be to have a dog!
Beautiful photos that I’m sure have very special memories for you.
