A trio of gorgeous shots I bought Affinity, tried using it for a week, and then sent it back. Seemed like everything was hidden under little icons or indecipherable menus. It was not a good experience for me at all. IMHO, it was emphatically not intuitive by any stretch of the imagination. I hope you do better.

I kept Affinity but don’t use it very often. I really need to spend more time watching tutorials, and then force myself to use it. I bought it when I got a new computer then also added Elements 2021. There are things I like and dislike about both programs. Surprisingly, the photo editing that came with the computer does a very acceptable job with basic edits and seems to be more user friendly. It’s a good starting place before moving into the other more sophisticated programs for fine tuning.
