I am not an expert, however, a friend in Cleveland captured this Coopers Hawk image in his back yard.
The attached description of North American Hawks may be helpful to distinguish the birds.

It helpful but not definitive. As a 60+ year field birder (binocular) making a definitive call of Cooper's/ Sharp-shinned Hawk photograph can be iffy at best. Making a call in the field is a lot easier, it involved a lot of sensor inputs: size, shape, actions and many others. We used to call it jizz, the overall impression of the bird. Here in SE Arizona Cooper's Hawks are the common Accipiter that I see almost every day. Seeing a Sharp-shinned Hawk my first response would be that's not a Cooper's, it's time to pay attention.

Wonderful shots! Could also be a Red-shouldered hawk. I say this because of the apparent distance from the lower jaw to the wing shoulder. Hard to say with just a few shots but greatest anyway. Thanx for sharing.
