I'm thinking of buying Affinity at it's sale price. One question I have is if I download it on to my desktop, can I still use it on my laptop in another room. When you buy Affinity, is there a password you register so you can use it anywhere you download the program? Thanks.

You can install it with a single license on every computer you own, but you can't use it on more than one computer at the same time. This assumes that all the machines are using the same operating system. If your desktop is Windows 10 for example, and your laptop is a Mac, or vice versa you'll need two separate licenses.

A lot of power for the money.

I ordered it Sunday just because 25 bucks for software that is at least good is a steal. I have noticed a learning curve coming from Nikon software.

Your post and sub. Answers convinced me to but it. With the free 14 day refund policy and low cost I figured I would take the plunge

I've been using Affinity for over a year. A great package with Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer, and Affinity Publisher (even better with the current prices). You can also run the NIK collection in Affinity Photo

There are classes in UDEMY on Affinity if you need a good start.

I highly recommend watching the free Affinity Revolution videos on YouTube.

A fantastic deal. I use On1 as my primary pp software but Affinity does a better job with focus stacking, hdr, and Astro stacks.

I also use it and like the way it integrates with Apple Photos which I use primarily. You can edit in Affinty and save back to Photos.

I’ve been thinking about getting affinity as well.
There’s multiple apps available. I’m not sure which one to get. I have a newer iPad Pro and would be a beginner. I’d like to have the option to “grow “ with it. Do you have any recommendations?

I use Affinity Photo and Affinity Publisher. I prefer Publisher to Adobe InDesign. Great software at a bargain price.

Affinity Photo is excellent but the iPad interface is a little difficult. Watch as many tutorials as you can. I think a desktop is always going to be easier and my preference is for a couple of large screens

Thank you for your answer. I currently use my iPad for everything. I would love to have an iMac. Maybe when my ship comes in. And my post processing justifies it. 😊

Sudamar , please accept my sincere apology.
With my add on question, I didn’t intend to hijack your post.

I don't know much about the Apps. The PC version is what I use. It keeps on getting better with each update and is MUCH cheaper than Photoshop.
