JJS,
I was thinking hard about the 80d vs 7dii this am. Your pictures speak very loudly in favor of the 80d.
Very nicely done.
I especially like the Cob web below and to the right of the Redwinded Blackbird.

I thought the coot’s bill was white. Is the red a mating season thing or blood?

Pretty nice. The last one is a Moor Hen. Coots have a white head shield.

Your portraits of these birds are very appealing. In terms of bird ID's, is that an American Coot? I thought they were called Gallinules, AKA Moorhens.

Nice set. Definitely a Gallinule and not a Coot.

My mistake. It's a Gallinule.

Thanks. My mistake. Moor Hen or Gallinule? Or are they one and the same?

How do you like full time RV living?
