Wow - never in million years would I think this was taken with a cell phone. Amazing. Cell phones cameras have come a long way.
Yes cell phone cameras have come a long way and are getting better with each new release. The attached one was taken on an Apple 6. I now have an Apple 11. But i still prefer using my DSLR if I have it with me.
The photo was of the Wisconsin River taken in the Wisconsin Dells by the power plant in a Restaurant called Mexicali Rose. The food is good but the view is even better!

Both my Nikon D750 and my Fuji X-T2 are probably considered antiques. I really could use some sort of a macro or closeup lens but cannot decide on which camera I should ear-mark it for. I am closing in on 80 so I know I won't be around all that much longer.
Many years ago I had an iPhone 4 but ended up giving it to my nephew because it was too complicated to operate. I now have a 20-year old flip phone without a camera. That's all I need.
That Wisconsin River looks a tad chilly for a swim !!
What? A cell phone? Beautiful!

How fortunate you are to live there! Looks better than the movie. OGP will always be one of my favorite movies of all time. Love it. I spent every summer in Quebec Ca., so I really relate to the movie and your photo.

Thank you Boone for your positive comments. It is interesting to note the the screen play for the movie was written by a local man and he won an academy award for his effort. and yes we had a great lunch.
