Not sure if anyone has had this issue or not and I couldn't find it with a quick search, but, for anyone shooting Canon mirrorless and is thinking about the Lensbaby 56mm Velvet, I got my Canon RF mount Lensbaby 56mm Velvet in today and it would not work on my mirrorless camera at all. However, I did figure out a way to work around it. Since the lens is totally manual and the camera does not recognize it at all, you can go into the camera menu and allow your camera to release the shutter with no lens attached, then it will work just fine.
Yes if I remember correctly thatβs what the instructions say. You can go to their website there is good information there and customer service is good.
