Thanks for looking in and for the positive vibes.
Very nice shots Ours - love the hoar frost against the blue sky, particularly in #5, and though I am admittedly not very fond of B&W pictures, the last one really stands out, and #8 with the tree branches and the shadow effect of the small bushes would be fantastic would civilization not have intruded. Exellent! Joe
Have to agree that I was struggling with the background! Still, it was there and "the camera doesn't lie" (even though we can goof around in post!)
Thanks for looking in and taking the time to comment.

A bright Sunny day, grabbed a coffee and dashed out the door with the A7c, kit 28-60mm lens and the Samyang 14mm to catch the Hoar frost before the Sun melted it all. About -16C, but no wind. Surprisingly, the Sun did not melt the frost as fast as I had feared, and I spent over an hour goofing around and trying to optimize the available lighting.
Colour images - light pp in ON1.
B&W - built a B&W preset in ON1 and used the same one for all, with slight exposure adjustments to get the effect I wanted.
Please enjoy and feel free to comment.

Fantastic set of images!!!!!
An hour in 3 degree F weather! You are tougher than I am. But the photos are great. I don't usually care for black and white photos much, but these are beautiful.
Very nice. I love the black and white photographs.
