Yup, the religion of the left.

President Biden's motives can only be logically understood if you believe that fossil fuels' burning is the cause of our planet's Earth's death. Still, in reality, the crisis they have created is not to address climate but as a tool to secure political and economic changes in countries worldwide.

In two posts, you've blamed (along with others) CO2 levels in the atmosphere. As history bears out, CO2 levels are actually low, compared to the history of the earth, even after man came along. Currently the average is roughly 400PPM. Levels would have to be at least 5,000PPM to become a concern, and it takes about 40,000PPM to affect people adversely.
And the earth is much cooler than it was 2000 years ago. At that time, citrus trees were grown in Britain, and Rome was almost tropical. Please tell us the location of any citrus groves in England... Never mind, there are none. Increased CO2 levels contribute to increased growing seasons. And with a goodly number of folks starving because of bad growing and shortened growing seasons, it would seem that more CO2 is a good thing.
Folks need to be worrying about an oncoming ice age. Were 10K years past the last one, and they come around every 10K-15K years. We're overdue.

This is incorrect on many levels.
One is that some crops (apples being an example, since I live in Washington State) need cold weather as part of their growing cycle. Warmer weather will also mean an increase in insect and rodent pests.
Warmer waters impact fish in multiple ways. Toxins produced by algae blooms—which are occurring more frequently as temperatures rise—can stress or kill fish by clogging their gills or reducing oxygen levels in the water. Warmer waters also make fish more vulnerable to parasites and diseases.
Hotter weather means more demand for electricity for air conditioning.
Extreme - and disastrous - weather events are becoming more common.

Climate is clearly a complex issue with many interrelated factors.
Well, complicated for most people, including climate scientists.
But there is ONE person -- the ONLY person -- who can solve this. He really should be consulted on these matters!!!
"Climate is simple."
"What can be so complicated about climate?"
"I know more about climate than anyone."
"People look at me and say, 'How do you know so much about climate?' I guess I should have become a climate scientist. It just comes naturally, you know."

You poor thing, we are paying $4.30 a gallon and nobody here is complaining.
It is not my fault if you are too stupid to complain about that! A year ago, the U.S. was energy self-sufficient and actually an exporting entity. Now?

I did not state that cold weather wasn't needed. I stated that increased CO2 levels would extend and enhance growing seasons; that CO2 levels were far from record highs, and are in fact, a bit low. Washington state is not a paradigm of agricultural diversity.
Farmers have dealt with vermin and insects for eons. It's not an unknown problem.
We are on the cusp of a coming ice age. Prepare for it.

When we see all the good done with the money like roads and infrastructure we don't mind.
Canada is big and spread out far and wide and with a small population, we all have to chip in more.
We have mostly paved roads going everywhere and very few of our bridges collapse.

I recall quite well the vast area of paved roads up near the Tar Sands area. A nice usage of the mined material. Should export even more towards Calgary & Edmonton.
But over a dollar-a-liter gasoline is not something most U.S citizens are not willing to pay — no matter WHAT infrastructure improvements are available.

Geologic history would tend to support the potential of another ice age.
But it is possible that another major warming event with high temperatures, high CO2 levels (and attendant plant growth) and high O2 levels (promoting increased insect size) could occur. At present we just do not know how things will go.

How big is your population compared to Canada?

Canada ~35 000 000.
United states ~350 000 000 (minus 500 000 due to Covid-19).
So if everyone that uses gasoline in the U.S. were to chip in $0.20 / gallon, the infrastructure could be addressed.

You have a lot more people and that is one of the reasons why your gasoline is so much cheaper.
If it went up 50 cents a gallon that would bring in a hell of a lot more money for roads and bridges.

"Extreme weather events are becoming more common" More common then when? Can you give any statistics on that?

Now stop that! Uncle Joe is a good and loyal Communist, and he won't rest until the rest of us are just as happy under a Communist rule.
