Great photo, BT. I guess we can only speculate on what happened to her tail. Maybe escaping a close call.

Thank you very much and, yes, I have had a bobcat come within 15’ of me while shooting photos from my deck so you probably are correct.

Great capture! Tailless does not mean flightless! Hope she did not lose her tail feathers to the cold! I admire how these tiny creatures can survive the cold and snow and all. Thanx for sharing.
