Glad you're a fan! You joined this forum three years later that I and you have 695 more posts. Wow, 6:28 AM- too early for me! Looking forward to your further review of my literary participation.
I usually tune out after the third paragraph. I think you need to get involved in something other than mundane background and time checks.

Please be so kind as to do a favour for this fellow vet and former New Yorker. Put me on your ignore list, don't read what I write. I don't need anyone to tell me how to spend my time and I can do without all the snide remarks and snarky nonsense that goes on here.
Your cooperation in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

“ ... shotgun ... “ ?
No, but the midwife was standing by.
And, yes, I shot one of those ... for friends, in a grange hall. And not for free. Friends don’t insult friends (but they did get a terrific deal.)
The bride’s gown was well tailored for her basketball belly. I’d imagine you usually rent, not own, such a gown. I mean, is THAT something you’d store and save for your daughter to use ?
Exactly what I was going to say. A wedding is not about your artiistic interpretation or the flowers or even about the groom. It's all about the bride. And you put her out of focus. I'd be unhappy too.

...Left brained people?
Whille I agree that there are different personalities among the human tribe, researchers for a number of years have demonstrated that the idea of "left-brain" vs. "right-brain" is pseudoscience or an urban myth type of idea. It just does not hold water. Here is a quote from the January 2014 issue of _Psychology Today_ (selected from similar articles in many sources) that verbalizes this. The articles was written by Stephen M. Kosslyn, Ph.D. and G. Wayne Miller.
------------------
"The idea that the left side is 'logical and analytical' and the right is 'intuitive and creative; seems to be natural law.
"In fact, it may be the poster child for pseudoscience—something that looks like science but isn’t.
"Neuroscientists have known for a long time that research does not support such sweeping claims about how people differ in their left and right sides, or hemispheres."
------------------
So, we can bemoan that sometimes some people do not seem to value creativity, but let's not blame it on an outdated and defunct idea of handedness in one's brain. --Richard

Good advice:
Abandon page ten of this thread that is actually about something entirely else, something that is basically not really about gear but is about incompetence. Page ten is always just a wilderness.
All the useful info in your new thread will arrive in the first 3 or 4 pages, although your topic can easily generate very many additional pages of repetition and petty arguments. Just like this thread !
Open a new thread. Your thread title should include the terms (1)“low light”, (2)“Canon”, and (3)”FF body”.
Note that term “body”. It’s important cuz it might, to a minor degree, minimize discussion of low light lenses, which is a different topic (though closely related).
In your opening post be sure to (1)name your intended low light subject matter and (2)clearly repeat that you are asking about camera bodies, (3)full frame, and that (4)you don’t care about keeping or using your old lenses.
You could mention your budget for the *body alone* but be assured that better low light bodies are seldom low end bodies. But if you don’t mention both (1)budget and (2)low light subject matter, you’ll get very many wasted replies that ask for that info.
You DO need to open a new thread :-)
My z6 does great I low light.

Still laughing. Well, I don't really read all of what you write. You have a tendency to ramble on and on.
This has been a long discussion and we have all learned a lot here. Two things we'll all remember is which hogs are the rudest and that it costs more to be rude than it does to be polite. If I ever sound rude, I apologize. I don't mean to be. I'm just expressing MY opinion.

Keep laughing! Laughter triggers your brain to release endorphins. That makes you feel good!

I really feel sorry for the bride. You could have said that you were booked. Consumers are not photographers and often not artists. A bride wants to look back and see how beautiful she was on her wedding day. And that's what matters in the end.

What makes me feel good is how easily you start to trip out.

Most any half decent camera can “
does great” in low light. Just put it in my not so humble hands ... and stand back ;-)
I’m hardly alone or unique in this. I’m just possibly unique in lacking humility.
*Somebody* hasta represent for all the more humble maestros. At the “call for volunteers”, everyone else quickly took three giant steps backward.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it !
