I get these calls and text weekly telling me my extended warranty is expiring. I don't have an extended warranty and I feel sure a lot of people are annoyed by these calls too. A friend left this message at my house while I was at work.

Great sense of humor.
Did you ever click you want to talk to someone about extending your warranty? After I clicked I was put on hold for a minute or two. Then the person that spoke was speaking a foreign language. It was not just that I could not understand him. He could not speak a word of English. Recently I clicked the number to say I was not interested and they should stop calling. I assumed it is their way of making sure they have a live number. Needless to say that did not work either.

My favourite, is the fake Windows caller, I don't give them a chance to ask questions and then start to berate them about being late at my house, to replace the double glazing. Unfortunately, they hang up after a while.

Another in a long line of scams about something you don't need. At least three or more calls a week.

When I answer a solicitor's call I whisper excitedly in the phone: I's done, but there's blood all over the place. What do you want me to do?

Don't do it, my mechanic told me customers of his who have EW can't get OEM parts and major repairs like transmissions aren't covered. Plus he said paid the money owed from these insurance Co's is a PITA. So he's stopped from servicing cars altogether with extended warranty's unless it's a factory EW.
Like getting Insurance on something your paying for at the register. Suckers bet. Or buying something on TV, get second one free just pay separate S&H, well they make they're on the S&H...

I get two or three of these every week. Quick hang up.

I receive calls on both land line and cell. If I'm in the "mood" I will push "1" and string them on just for fun.

I see that you are in Ft. Worth. Hope you and friends are not impacted by the power & water issues.

For a little fun I occasionally push the number to get a representative. I then ask them which of my cars needs to have the warantee renewed. When they say "huh?" or "what?", I tell them that if they know my warantee is about to expire, then they surely know which car it is and if they can't tell me, then there is no point in any further conversation. This usually results in a hang-up.

I tell them I have 14 windows in my house,+ but NONE of them have a computer attached.. For some reason, they just hang up.

That’s funny, even if your neighbor can’t spell “extended."
