Perhaps he will like the ‘Marlboro Man’, leave a video blaming smoking for his death.
https://www.ststworld.com/marlboro-man/

Marlboro Man says it's time you quit smoking
https://www.reuters.com/video/watch/id475840890

Limbaugh who died of lung cancer defended smoking saying that people die when they eat carrots all their lives ! yes !! True.
https://heavy.com/news/rush-limbaugh-smoking-lung-cancer/

On the topic of the dangers of secondhand smoke, Limbaugh dismissed this as a “myth.” He claimed the World Health Organization had concluded secondhand smoke was not dangerous but that the report had been “suppressed,” according to the episode transcript. It’s unclear how Limbaugh arrived at this conclusion. The World Health Organization highlights the risk from exposure to secondhand smoke on its website and cites a University of Auckland 2010 report that found “globally, more than 600,000 deaths every year are caused by passive smoking (1% of all deaths).”

The Conservative Limbaugh Lovers will be comforted to know that Rush will go to heaven... but... will sing before entering the cigar wrapper gates:

Smoke smoke smoke that cigar
Puff puff puff
And if you smoke yourself to death
Tell St Peter at the Golden Gate
That you hate to make him wait
But you just gotta have another cigar

Well, way back when before my radio listening years my older brother and sister listened to him as a DJ where I grew up in Pittsburgh. What is remarkable is that there are several surviving DJs from that era that worked in Pittsburgh that have become talk radio swills swallows just like Rush did. It must be a generational thing. Virtually everyone over the age of 65 today is some sort of angry old man with issues...I blame the Vietnam War for creating these social pariahs and angry seniors.

wow...now the pixi is a psychoanalyst...NO ONE CARES who or what yu blame

I disagreed with virtually everything he said. I think he was a purveyor of propaganda. However, there was a time when he was merely a conservative. Seemed back then to be a straight-shooter.
Though I differed greatly with him politically, I sympathize with his wife and any family who today are feeling pain and loss. Lung Cancer is a horrible way to pass. I empathize with all who had a bond with him, even if they never met the man. Surely, death transcends politics. McCain was not my guy, but he, too was a prominent man who was revered by many. I had great respect for his heroism. We should all mourn the loss of such people, be they right or left wing, even moderate centrists go this way, but once.

You can mourn; I'm popping the cork of my bottle of champagne.

You can say that again. Good-bye to the king of propaganda and BS.

Limbaugh was a conservative icon who mastered the practice of driving liberals nuts. Witness your comment. His
trademark 'I'm your host, coming at you with half my brain tied behind my back just to make it fair" lead in is legendary.

Death is something dreadful for everyone affected by it. It is true I did not agree with his reporting. I would have been happy he were gone if for any reason other than death. Still, this was a human life and I always am saddened to hear of people dieing. Obviously, there are exceptions such as Hitler or Putin or the like. Rush did a disservice to his followers, but I can not relish his passing. The sympathy is for those who were most close to the man.

Those of you who are celebrating the death of Rush could not possibly have listened to his show. He was a true teacher in an age where teachers have sunk low in respect and honor, he was a patriot in an age where bashing America is rampant, he was a generous man in an age where fraud and self-serving greed lifts a man to be the current President. If you ever heard him talking to one of his young (and I mean young) callers, you would smile inside. If you read his books for children, you would not doubt his grasp of history and his love of country.

So go ahead and delight in your scorn and hatred because you are diminished, not Rush.

Well spoken words.

"Greetings conversationalists across America..." will never be heard again at noon EST as it had been 5 days a week for 32 years in a row.

Rush to me was a combination of Mark Twain, Thomas Paine, and Will Rogers. He educated Americans on their original values as embodied in Conservatism and made them understandable and enjoyable. I wouldn't buy a car if it didn't have an AM band.

A great point. The Left Wing crybabies bitch and whine about angry Conservative seniors but conveniently and hypocritically forget all about their angry Left already angry kids, Maddie, Lemon, Cooper and others. Yup, hypocrisy reigns supreme on the corrupt Left.
