Does anyone know where I can download the old Standalone versions. I'm in Florida & can't get to my CDs and I had to buy a new computer.

Thanks,
Indi

If you go to the Adobe site and sign into your account, you should see all the programs you bought, and there should be a link to download them again. Unfortunately, this is easier said than done. My programs are listed in two different areas of their website, and it took me a while to find what I wanted. I don't know if they will still have LR 5.7 available, although they should. If searching doesn't do any good, give them a call.

If you can’t find the 5.7.1 update executable, send me a PM. I can upload it to the cloud and send you a link.

Unfortunately, I didn't buy it from Adobe. (BJs or Costco maybe) so all I see is my registered products, but no order numbers which they require to download.

Visit Adobe.com and sign-in like you mention above for your registered products. Then, find 'support' at the top of their website and the how to contact Adobe. Use the technical support chat. All this assumes you have / know the license keys as you'll need those to re-install the software onto a new computer, no matter how / where you obtain the installation files. Explain to the Adobe rep you reach via the chat that you've bought and registered the software in the past, but now need to install onto a new computer.

With valid license keys, see if Adobe will give you links to the download and install the software files. Be sure to save these install files, if you can get them. That is, if you get a link, right-click the link and save the file to your local disk that then run the install from your local drive. Add these files into your back-up files and keep safe for future use.

GreyFox gave me a download link for LR 5.7.1. Had the codes & it worked beautifully. I don't use PSE 14 very often so I think I'll wait until I get home to install that. Don't want to go through Adobe's menu system or chat as I'm only here in FL for another month or so and I don't want to waste any more time.

Thanks anyway.

No matter where you get the file, make sure it gets you to the final LR 5.7.1 version when you check the help menu. Make sure too that you save this file going forward, not the link, but the actual file.

I continue to use PSE-10 most everyday. But, if I 'lost' this software, it's old enough and I've drained enough use from the original purchase to justify buying the current software.

As a couple have said, if you have your license keys (serial numbers) you should be able to get them downloaded from Adobe.com via your account. When I purchase an upgrade of PSE, take a photo of my order and serial #s with my phone so I have a record of them with me and can reinstall easily if needed.

Why are you using inferior 7 yr old software on your brand new computer? Asking for a friend.

Because it works for me and I'm not going to lease software for the rest of my life.
Besides, this is not my main computer.
I hope that doesn't sound sarcastic, nasty or anything.

It is not nasty or sarcastic. But, I don't see it as a lease or other penalty. I see it as buying entertainment! And, I used to buy film at higher cost. I probably spent more on that than photographic software.

The current Adobe system allows you to install it on your main computer and as many subordinate computers as well. Only two can be active with log ins and outs. Keeping your images and catalog on a portable drive makes it even better.

There is so much fun, capable stuff in the newest offering, I feel bad for not being better at communicating how much fun it can be.
