So, I heard this joke ages ago but I think you'll get a kick out of it.
A Dublin newspaperman is staring out the window when he sees a large Rottweiler attack a young boy across the street. He leaps to his feet and by the time he’s made it to the door a young man is on the scene who pulls the dog off the boy and strangles it dead.
The journalist crosses the street and says “That was the most heroic thing I've ever witnessed lad.” “Do ya live here in Dublin”?
The young man nods in the affirmative. Yes I do.
The next day the papers headline reads “Dublin man saves child from monstrous menace!”
He receives a call shortly after. The young lad says ”I’m not from Dublin”.
The next day the papers headline reads “Belfast hero rescues wee lad from fanged scourge!”
He receives another call. The hero says “ I’m not from Belfast either”.
Well where are you from lad? the writer asks.
“London” he replies.
The next day the papers headline reads “British bastard kills boys pet!”

It all depends on who's telling the story.
What we need is a reliable news source. I'm not holding my breath...
