my cousins do something like this with their young kids every year, because it gives the kids more artistic freedom than with traditional carving :)

Say no to cruelty against pumpkins! LMAO!!! We always painted but just because Mom would save them afterwards for baking pies! Speaking of baking, did anyone else go nuts for baked & salted seeds? Yummy!!!

I prefer to spend hours carving pumpkins. These are last years , this has been a tradition since I was a kid and I don't intend to let the tradition die. I look forward to it every year!
