*PROBLEM* Included software is only good up to Windows 7.
For years Plustek put updated software on their site but it has stopped. I recommend VueScan (hamrick.com) as the best for anyone needing software for old scanners. I'm not sure how SilverFast works with their licensing. Its included but I've never used it.
