One of my favorite shots a pair of Hen Buffleheads traveling at mach 5.2. ( I'm exaggerating a little) "Bufflehead ducks is one of the fastest waterfowl and can achieve flight speeds of up to (48 mph)". It never ceases to amaze me how good modern cameras work; in the flash of an instant with 8X or higher magnification, it is possible to focus and take ten pictures or more in one second. Have a super fantastic Superbowl day, and don,t forget to FRIEND and SHARE. Photos are taken in South Eastern Ct. with a Canon 5D M or II 7D M II and Canon 100 to 400II or Sigma 24-105; THANK YOU.
Wow! Beautiful image. The sharpness of the ducks in flight contrasts very nicely against the soft background. I love the brown and white tones.
Wow, wonderful catch, they are such fun to watch.

Never knew that
Of course, since I've been spending a lot of time on this site, I've been learning that there are an ungodly number of birds that I never knew existed. These guys look compact, for speed. An excellent, lovely capture
