Any Aperture users around. I would like to talk with someone about a minor issue. Thanks so much. Dale A
What is your issue, please?
I still use it. I will try if you feel us the problem.
Hi, I've been a user since 2009 and later combined it with Photos. Can I help? Zucco

I still use it but am NO expert.
This program was discontinued over 7 years ago. It doesn't even run on the modern Apple OS's. You might consider moving on......
So far... we don’t know what the OP’s... ISSUE... is.
One more thing, FYI, I added Luminar to my combined Library of Aperture & Photos. Luminar offers a lot. Zucco

I recently sent him a private message letting him know that 5 or more people are waiting to help him.

Do you happen to know whether Aperture 3 will open Olympus ORF images?
I recently discovered that my beloved iPhoto won't open ORF files.
(I have that version of Aperture in a box, but never actually unwrapped it.)
I did down load Olympus software, but find the fonts are so small I can't really work with it.
Apologies for the delay. I posted a few days ago, but
slow okay till today. I have saved about 50 projects and when I went on recently I found that all but about 10 simple disappeared. This has happened two or three times in the past and I fixed the problem with a one click solution and restored all. My problem is I cannot remember how to again carry out his remedy> It was an easy one stroke fix.
An added note I am now aware that there are two companies that offer an app that will use of Aperture with recent Apple upgrades.
Thanks to all of you for giving me your time.
Carpe Diem and Cheers. Dale
Sorry Brian, I did get the note you sent. Dale
I meant did not get the note. Sorry, maybe I need rest. Smiles.

No one yet seems to have the answer to your problem but when (and if) you get it I think you will have two things you need to do right away. First, do what you need to do in order to save your work. Second, get your work out of Aperture. It is old and unsupported. You are risking all by continuing to use it. Someday you may not be able to recover your lost work. I'm surprised you went back to it after the first big glitch. There are newer and better fully Apple supported programs for your photography.

I wish I could help the recovery but I don't know the answer.
Once you recover it as "CamB" said you must back-up all your work and do it on two separate drives. I use two external drives. I had a drive fail and lost all.
