flying the flag in front of your house.

I agree, love it or leave it, if you don't like the flag and what it stands for move to China, Russia, N Korea or Venezueia
Them Trump and a whole bunch of his supporters should move to a totalitarian state.

You know who is luck that he is not handing from a tree someplace.
See Bill, I try to throw you a bone and then you come back with utter nonsense... So sad.
It is amazing how guns are such a polarizing topic for some people. I recognized long ago that you either get it or you don't. Not much middle ground here. As for my axiom, it applies to the basis for our country’s beginning, and what it will take to keep our country free. After all, if our founding fathers had simply stood at the shore and waved a flag, we would still be singing Britannica, Britannica. Nothing more is meant by it. I respect your right to believe as you wish. Since the purpose of this forum is about photography, I probably shouldn’t have expressed my belief in guns as it is such a hot button topic,. But then again, questions about whether one flies a flag in front of their house is also off topic and has little to do with photography … unless you are photographing said flag. I regret to have stirred the pot.

If you regret stirring the pot why did you do it?

Because this is the Attic, if you are not stirring the pot then you are in the wrong forum. Pretty basic.

Got it and I agree. I didn’t realize the post had been moved to the attic. It started out in General Chit-chat.

The nonsense is you, that is what is sad.
Sadly the rhetoric on here is getting very similar to Facebook. Perhaps we will soon be censored here as on those other forums.
No clue what the Attic is, however, it sounds that one can be a bit more controversial than other forums.

Well Dannj, I suppose that is what one says to ease the sensibilities of someone offended, even though it is not clear what the offense was. Sort of a agree to disagree comment. Then again, I'm not sure what side of the discussion you are on, so I can't be sure you are offended.

I just read the description of Attic content. Thanks for pointing me to it.

Got it...and I’m not offended. Actually, I think the OP intended to stir the pot and he has succeeded. Hence the move to “The Attic” from “General Chit-chat”.

Guns are guaranteed to polarize as are the other old standbys ... abortion, gays, religion, socialism, borders and
now ... censorship of conservative free speech.
All reliable round robin hot button issues exploited to distract us while donor class buys legislation.

Well the monied class controlling the country is something that we can agree on, especially given the construct of this last election, guarantee you that the demonics take a hands off policy towards big tech and we will see if they can muster the fortitude to confront Wall Street and Public Employee unions in a meaningful way. After all, we know the power structures in this country that own the democrat party, it is no longer a poorly kept secret, it is now on full display for all to see.
