I've finished re-reexamining more than 3000 images I kept from my 2017 workshop in order to make a different book. I have not shown all, but I'm down to about 85.
The top two images are craftspersons.
The pottery maker uses foot-power to spin the wheel, which is seen here.
The beautiful basket lanterns I've shown in other shots start in shops like these.
The three portraits were moments in time, one shot grabs as I pointed my camera just walking by myself.
Now I need to thank all of the Hogs for their compliments. You are the reason I continued to publish my images.
For those of you who are thinking of getting to Vietnam when this pandemic allows it, every hotel had all of the amenities we spoiled 1st world people think we need, including beautifully done wash and fold laundry (so you only need to pack for several days), the restaurants (great food) are clean with bottled water for tourists, and everything is hugely less expensive than I have found in my travels in Europe or North America. And, the people are friendly!!!
It's been a fun journey. Thanks for taking us along.

Beautiful, strong people - and great shots
This whole series has been a pleasure. Thanks again for sharing.
Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful pictures of Vietnam. I spent three years in and around Vietnam in the 1960s so your pictures had a special meaning to me.
I've enjoyed this series very much. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much for taking me on this wonderful journey, Doctor!
Beautiful pictures and beautiful people! Takes me back. Thank you.
Very much like the poignant last photo including the man in the background. Nice composition. Brings back memories of our trip to Viet Nam also in 2017.
