I have the standard subscription to LR/PhS. Broadly, I am a landscape-travel (when possible) photographer, with the occasional side trip to BIF and street photography. What plug-ins would you recommend? Thank you.
Honestly, I'd recommend developing your own. Using someone's plug-ins, per se, is copying someone else's style. Establish your own style, save the things that work for you, and keep your photograph yours.

Thank you, I suppose I was looking for a list of recommended plug ins that I can try and then make my own.
To me, “plug-in” means an added capability, generally thru a separate program or service. Both LR and PS have the means to add plug-ins. For me, I have plug-ins for SmugMug, Costco Printing, etc.. Here is a link to some that are available for LR Classic:
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/plug-ins.htmlNote that “Plug-ins” are service-oriented, while “Presets” are local tools to help do your post processing.

Check Luminar AI. You can use it as standalone or as a LR / PS plug in. Perfect for Landscape / Travel shots
Probably the fastest way to find what you are looking for is to Google "Photoshop presets"
For bird shots, Topaz Denoise and Topaz Sharpen AI are very helpful.

On1 and Nik provide presets, but they both have extensive collections of fully customizable effects that are applied as layers or masks. The workflow is simple - you pick one that you like, apply it, and adjust as necessary to fit your style. This way you don't end up copying someone else's style and the results are uniquely yours. Topaz may be like this as well, but I haven't used it in years.
Also, there are some plugins that do very specific things that are hard or impossible to do in LR/PS - one that comes to mind is using DXO PhotoLab to export a raw file that has already been entered into Lightroom's catalog, then apply their uniquely powerful adjustments/corrections for lenses, volume anamorphosis, keystoning, and their advanced noise correction/detail enhancement tool - Prime. When you've completed your editing in PhotoLab, you can export the results back to Lightroom as a dng file. DXO also sells Nik.
There are other examples -

There is a difference in the words "plug-in" and "preset." A plug-in program is a program that one can use from a basic processing program. For example, I use LrC and I can process an image and then send the image to a "plug-in" program, like Topaz, or Nik, or ON1, and then use that plug-in and send the finished image back to LrC. A "preset" is a filter that is applied on top of an image. For example in Topaz there are presets, which are simply coded instructions for a file, that can be applied to an image, the "painterly" preset is popular with many people and can be found in several plug-in programs.
You cannot create a plug-in program, unless you write code, but you can create a preset in almost any software. A preset can be based on something as simple as sharpness or can be much more complex. You can create or buy presets, they are abundant online.
Thank you. Much appreciated.

I have 3 that I use.
I am a big fan of Silver Efex Pro 2 (I use it a lot), Nik Color Efex Pro 4 (I play around with it but don't use it as much) and Topaz Denoise 6 (works really well).

I definitely recommend Topaz Denoise AI and Topaz Sharpen AI. I find them both excellent plug-ins.
