Canon AE-1 with 50mm lens and a 70/150 zoom, auto winder, flash and 1 roll of 100 film. Not sure of what it's worth but would entertain offers. Very nice condition.
I had one of those in 1977. It fell off my backpack when I was climbing a cliff (about 40 feet), landed in water and... STILL WORKED!!!
The first picture I sold was from this camera and made me change my profession... I was an avalanche dog trainer for the French army, got out and started training with an old master in Lyon. (He laughed a my measly AE-1, savage as he was)
Keep that thing man this part of the Canon legend!
have a ae-1 i bought in the 70s plus a k-mart zoom. bought a a-1 body for $150 5 yrs ago.have 4 rolls of film in the frige.i think i'll hold on to them.

I have an A-1 also that I bought in about 1978 - 1979 time frame, FD lenses etc. that still is a great piece of gear. No film for now but would love to get ahold of some 25 Kodachrome.
I have an AE1 plus lenses. Have not used it for years. Recently bought a wide angle lens and a power winder on ebay. Why? they were cheep. I keep thinking I will take it out and use it. I took lots of slides with it a great camera. DSLRs make us lazy I think I shot better and certainly less pics with the old AE1. I just digitized slides that are about 30 years old and they transferred nice and clean
You might get $50 on ebay. Bought A-1 for $25. I own the same one you have. Used it for many years Its like a tank.

I have one since 78 ,they were very expensive back then . the camera was close to $300.00 or more. takes awesome pictures. Keep it! Have some fun with it!
We repair older SLR cameras for student training. We re always looking for AE-1 & AE-1 Program cameras(working or not), accesories, & FD lenses. These are great platforms to teach Photography basics but sometimes the repairs end up costing more than they are worth.
If you can help us with this project please send info to: get.with.the.program@gmx.us
[We also have almost every manual for the complete AE-1 and FD product line available. Individual PDFs are free for the asking]

Kodack gave the last roll of kodacolor to the Nat Geo photographer that shot the great cover of the afgan girl with the fabulous blue eyes. I think Fuji still makes film
My AE-1 was my favorite camera of all time,,and I've have a few. I recently made the change to a DSLR, and the only reason it took so long was my reluctance to let the AE-1 'go'. I still can't bear to sell it.

The only thing that goes wrong with them are the foam seals for the mirror & proper lubrication of the shutter mechanism to prevent shutter squeak. I had comet camera in philly do the repairs for my A-1. I still have much literature & many lenses for my A-1. I may try some B&W film to check it out. Bill
