Love these old steel truss bridges. Some nice shots there. Looks like that old bridge needs some love though.

Strange that you mention ''help'' Daniel..for years the govt has been fighting with the RR company who owns to get it back in shape, and the RR says that it is the govt's job...but through the eyes of a steelworker the biggest problem would be when they sandblast, how will they recuperate the sand and rust before it walls into the river?

I have long intrigued by architectural photography, especially shots of details such as doors and windows, woodwork and stonework, and interesting angles and views, whether of modern or older architecture. I am looking forward to seeing your take on this challenge

Thank you for hosting this challenge. In fact, this is my first probably because I didn’t think my work is good enough.

Not really, just the nickname applied to this piece of artwork by a school that is addicted to football. Best, chase

Glad you enjoyed, Pat...but there's so many places
I really want to see before I really go...

Hopefully this year our riverboat cruise will actually
happen...down the Romantic Danube from Regensburg
to Passau, Krems Austria, Vienna and finishing up
in Budapest. (We were suppose to go last year and that
trip would have started in Nuremberg...not sure why
they dropped it.)

Yup - lots of things were dropped last year...

I also love architectural details, the flow of curves, angels, intersecting lines, doors and so on. It was great to see a challenge that I was really excited about to motivate me to stop lurking and post on the forum.

Thanks for hosting!

p.15 Love these, volvo. I am drawn to the geometrics of architecture and the juxatpositioning of straight angles and edges against curves and circles.

Folks, I have been enjoying all the wonderful images posted (and those to come), but if I tried responding to each person posting it would take me all night and would use up a lot of storage space. Please accept that I'm looking at them and having a great time.

It is definitely called that🤣. Friends in Omaha had a son attend there years ago. That’s when I first heard about “Touchdown Jesus”. He is signaling one after all. Probably inspired by Knute Rockne.🤔😉🔨⏱
