The great feather detail really makes the shot for me. Colts: They can sometimes be seen with young here in Michigan in a couple of parks that I'm aware of. It might be closer to you than Kearney.

True, but I have always wanted to go see them. That must be one grand sight.

I guess I have been looking at my tiny phone screen too long. On a big monitor, it is obvious they are remnants of corn stalks or such....

I have made trips for many years to the Kearney, Ne area and yes they do come in like that. It is an awesome sight to see, the sky blackened by thousands of birds, and the sound is almost deafening. Watching the dances they do is amazing.
