[quote=judy juul: Yale has some very interesting, old buildings! quote]

Now that I'm living in New Haven I plan to do a whole series of Yale pics in the Spring possibly including some shots of headstones at the Grove Street Cemetary, like Eli Whitney, Noah Webster and Roger Sherman.

Hopefully I'll have a D750 by then so I don't have to scan film (c'mon stimulus checks!)

Good ones, I have visited Gillette Castle.

I was there on Halloween a number of years ago and they had a volunteer couple in costume. The man was dressed as Sherlock Holmes (William Gillette's most famous role) and the woman was dressed in period Victorian attire. They made quite the couple.

Yale is awesome, don't forget the pigeons. Did a shoot there some years ago and they enhanced the photos, flip

That old building is cool. It reminds me of one I think I will post. Where is that round barn at?

Thanx JustJill, I believe that red barn is in central Indiana....

I have long intrigued by architectural photography, especially shots of details such as doors and windows, woodwork and stonework, and interesting angles and views, whether of modern or older architecture. I am looking forward to seeing your take on this challenge

This "Roundhouse" is located in a local cemetery, although it's called a roundhouse, it is actually an octagon.

If you like round barns, here's a stone one at the Shaker Village in the Berkshires:
