I fail to see the value in pointing out the relative populations of the US and the UK. Perhaps it indicates that we in the US have more misguided people than the entire population of the UK?
Just as meaningfully, it could have been said that more Americans voted for trump than attended my last birthday party.

Were you for Brexit or against it? I'm guessing against it.
I was for Brexit. I see where you are coming from, but there is no comparison in scenarios. The UK voted to make it's own decisions. I'm sure that you would not wish Canada or Mexico to be making your political decisions.

But we are not that smart. We voted for Biden and Globalism. China and Europe will be influencing us. And the U.S. will be leading from behind again. The UK has always been ahead of the U.S.
He's practicing being an authoritarian.

Good Bye Trump - Good Bye Trumpism.
Best wishes to America.
United you stand - Divided you fall.
You're now in with a chance.
Who invited you to the parity ?
OP was just telling us what the rest of the world is thinking. Valuable info.

There is a big difference between influencing and dictating. I am sure that the residents of Michigan would not wish to be dictated to by the state of Texas.
If the US leads from behind - it still leads. For that reason it's politics are of major concern to the rest of the world.
Especially the so-called free world. There is no room in a free world for aspiring dictators. I hope China and the rest of the communist bloc stay firmly in the East.
Today was the first day in four years
That the US president didn't embarrass the United States to the world.
BTW, does Biden golf?

Yes, Trump was a joke. A pathetic, scary joke.

Saying things like this is what’s wrong with our country--too much divisiveness. Trump did some good things and some not so good. Biden has some decent ideas and some that will hurt us. Unfortunately, too many people are blind to anything the so-called other side might do that’s a positive move. That group of people need to lose their political blindness and see what’s good for the country rather than what’s good for the political party. If we don’t wake up, politicism will destroy our country.
I like to watch the polls that sort folks into Republican, Democrat, and Independent, and I pay a lot more attention to the thinking of the independents than I do that of the party declarers and their preconceived notions.

But some of these replies show how divided we are.

So grateful for Allies like You!

Nope. He forgets what’s he’s doing after the first hole.

Leading from behind is leading? We have an author over here named George Orwell who could have coined that.
You don't sound like a pro Brexiter to me. How come Nigel Lafarge doesn't agree with you?
And you are actually buying the fake Democrat nonsense that Trump was an aspiring dictator? We have a document over here called the U.S. Constitution with a Bill of Rights, thank you very much. How could a dictator let himself get politically impeached? You have bought the B.S. You know about as much about our country as the Democrats who spread hoaxes and hate for 4 straight years and illegally attempted a coup on this duly elected president from day one.
Here's an American History lesson for you. Trump was the kind of candidate our founders imagined—someone successful who already made his money in private life. Biden is a creature from the political swamp, 47 years in politics and indebted to his patrons.
