I got an email from Netflix a while back saying they were raising the monthly bill from $12.99 to $13.99. Today, I see the increase is $4.00 - $16.99/mo. Have any of you seen that increase?

I get Netflix through Xfinity, for $8.99 for one screen, and I haven't seen a price increase.

After an almost 2 year lay off from Netflix (my PS3 died) I bought a new Sony DVD player that streams and rejoined. I'm paying 13.99. 16.99 is for premium.

My Netflix costs $17.99. Since I have a 4k TV, why not pay for 4k streaming? I've also kept my Netflix DVD membership, but reduced it to one disk at a time. There are films there that are not available for free streaming. Amazon Prime and AT&T TV with a $5 a month HBO subscription complete my TV availability. It's still cheaper than the DirecTV, land line and internet package I used to have. I used to read books. Now I read all kinds of stuff on my computer and watch 4 hours of TV each night. No, it's not a productive life, but I'm okay with it. Not broke and not sick.

No worry Netflix has in 2020 increased its customer base to 200,000,000,. Love it. I have owned Netflix for the last 10 years. It's cheap money for what you get.

Comcast included it with my subscription last year at no charge. I think at the time they said it was a $14.00 value, but not quite sure.

When I saw the title of this post, I immediately thought it was going to be something different. Last night, I got a text message saying Netflix was going to give free 1 year subscriptions due to Covid-19, and all I had to do was click the link and sign up. Needless to say, I immediately deleted the text and blocked the number.
Beware... this is just another phishing scam that has been going around since at least December last year.
