Just south of Dallas and my daffys are coming up and the Iris plants are starting to grow. I tried to tell them it's January but nobody wants to listen.

Believe it or not, we have daffodils starting too, about an inch up, hope February doesn't kill them.

Completely agree, it is this type of life style that keeps the damn virus going which screws it up for the rest of us.
I have no issues with going outdoors or camping etc, but mixing with friends and visiting people that is the reason why this keeps spreading. If everyone stopped meeting for two to three weeks the virus would end because it can only live if it finds new hosts all the time. If you stop mingling the virus would run its course in the bodies it is in and there would be an end to it. It does not take long, but people keep meeting and spreading it, that is the problem.

I understand you. i have many friends AND relatives in the health care industry. I hear their concerns constantly. I am just so happy that I am a retired public school teacher and I don't have to face all those problems. Be safe, be brave, be careful, and God bless you.

The virus by itself does not travel, only host humans carry it to others. If they knew they had it because of symptoms and acted in such a way, they’d be labeled irresponsible. Because there are infected people who are asymptomatic, there is no way to isolate the virus or mitigate the spread without requiring compliance to public health rules by all.

Me too!! Yesterday my wife saw a local news story about the county just opening an on-line sign-up site. She got on and got both of us signed up. It quickly filled up and closed after our sign-in, but we are now on a list to be notified and scheduled when vaccine is available.
