I understand. It is cold here in Georgia but I saw a full circle of blooming daffodils around a tree yesterday. Trust in God's plan. We are still so very blessed. Love to you and peace. Sandy

Have patience. Get your vaccine shot.
The following is taken from "Virology Blog" regarding how many types of viruses there are on earth:
"If we assume that the 62,305 known vertebrate species each harbor 58 viruses, the number of unknown viruses rises to 3,613,690 – over three times more than Dr. Morse’s estimate. The number rises to 100,939,140 viruses if we include the 1,740,330 known species of vertebrates, invertebrates, plants, lichens, mushrooms, and brown algae. This number does not include viruses of bacteria, archaea, and other single-celled organisms. Considering that there are 10 (to the power of 31) virus particles in the oceans – mostly bacteriophages – the number is likely to be substantially higher."
Thus as a truly ancient form, the virus was one of the first forms on earth and they are sure to be here long after mankind is gone from the planet.
Yep, it's getting old.......
If it were not for viruses, there would be no mitochondria, and we would not be here.

It's just now starting to bother you? Hahahaha! I've been bothered quite a while now. I can't wait until the vaccine is available to people in my age group.

Absolutely correct! Viruses are a part of us from before there was an "us" The mitochondria are the "power plants" of cells and could not exist without viruses, thus multi-celled critters could not exist thus we could not exist without viruses. There is a dark and a light side to everything under the sun.

Our King say's we can't yet.
Not quite old enough yet.
By the time he gets around to us we will be 70.

I'm 83 and I live in such a crappy state that I probably won't be able to be vaccinated until mid-March.

In the mean time make sure you are taking Vitamin C, D3, and zinc - you might not totally avoid the Virus but it will make it much milder. Husband had it just before Christmas and felt icky for about a week, nothing more. I had a bad head cold at the same time - no fever, no body aches, no congestion, although I lost taste for several days which is common with a bad cold - if it was the Virus it was almost a non-event. We've been taking this combination of supplements for over a year and this was the first time either of us was sick since 9/19 - BTW, he's 71 and I'm 70.

I agree. I add echinacea too.
Got my first shot yesterday!
Yup. But we've never changed our lives during this. We've been out and about all along, more camping, family events, and
even a very nice road trip recently from NW Wisconsin to Buffalo Wyoming visiting many places along way & many others we met doing the same.
