Does anyone know a free site which I could download on my IPad that has pet red eye removal ? I use PSexpress but the pet red eye removal function does not work. Thank you, Karen

My one editor has a "pet eye" tool.
(Their red eye is not the same as ours.)
Check your editor.

The reason it might not work is because that’s not red eye. It’s white eye.
Red eye is caused by the flash reflecting from the back of the Retna. If you are using a mounted flash, tilt it up from eye level.

The raccoon's left eye has no reflection, so it is a simple matter to clone the left eye to the right eye, complete with catchlight. Total time - 10 secs in Photoshop.

you might also check on some processing (paid) software, like Photoshop/Elements - i think the newer versions have a pet red(or white) eye tool.

Thanks!

I'm not really all that talented, but this was an easy one and I happen to have the right tools on my computer.

Pet eye is different, and red eye will not work. Lightroom PS etc., have a specific app for pets

If your software has layers and an opacity setting for the paint brush you are set. Clone the color of the other eye and on another layer simply paint over the red.

The Red eye is the reflection of the light from the blood vessels in the retina-in humans and some animals.

Some of the nocturnal animals have a special extra layer-the tapetum lucidum behind the retina. It amplifies the light to the retina by reflecting back rays that pass thru the retina- a two way pass. In cats the tapetum is green, hence green eye.

See Wikipedia Tapetum lucidum for an excellent account

I’ve used PSExpress on my phone for fixing a non-red eye glare and it has worked flawlessly. I’m not even close to being good at it, but it seemed to work fine. Hope you get the information you need.

I came up with this in a few seconds. Not perfect, but I’m sure you can do it way better than me.
