Gentlemen,
I have been searching Amazon online for Nikon D600 and found USED one for sales for $1306, and New is $2096.
As I understood, this model has just been launched on the market about one month, how it already has USED ones for sales at about 60% of the new one?
Thank you very much

I've found the same type of thing. It's a scam. My seller want me to buy a MoneyGram (with cash) and mail it to Athens, Greece. Then the guy (in Brooklyn) would mail the camera to me.

Another guy was too busy to communicate through Amazon, so he wanted to use regular email. Amazon keeps all correspondence for two years, in case of disputes. Going outside of their system denies you their protection.

The D600 is so new and in such demand that dealers are running out of them. i would not consider paying for a used or refurbished one.

IT is a scam. Run Away from it Fast!. They will sell you an empty box with a brick in it....Total B.S.

It is such a great camera nobody would want to sell it that cheap. After all,..... if there "was" a problem,....Nikon would fix it immediately....

I own one(as does jerry) and quite a bunch of us here and I doubt if any of us members would part with it. Especially at half price!!!!!

Hello every one,
I used all my saving to buy D600 at local store, Photocraft on October 23,2012, my 77 birthday, the price I paid is $2096. Today, get in online, I found B&H for sales D600 plus 24-85 lens plus tripot for &1900.The lens worth $500 and the tripot worth $130. I feel so bad because I bought it just two months earlier and lost more than $700.
Is D600 too bad to maintain its price? Did I make a mistake to buy it? Since the time I bought it, I haven't been out to take photograph yet, just stay indoor to make familiar with it with my kit lens 18-105mm from my D90. I am looking for a used lens 24-70mm, f/2,8. Sigma is less than Tamron about $400. Is the price different because the quality?
I have not compare the quality between my old camera, D90 and D600 yet, but certainly every time I use my new D600, I will not feel hapy with it.

I wouldn't expect a scam from Amazon. More than likely, it's an individual who just wants to sell. It was announced in Sept, so there's been time for someone to buy, then not want it. But, I can tell you that my D600 is like an old friend I just met. It is one sweet camera.
