Great pics of an old workhorse. Many of these have been restored but this one has been put in the pasture to cherish the past.

Thanks,
georad

My dad bought a new M in 1951. It was an excellent tractor then, probably one of the best tractor we ever had, but 17 years later it was no good for anything. My brother traded it in for a 4010, which has been traded in for a Case IH.

Loaded 1167 square bails of hay behind one of these one hot Iowa day in 1956. Great tractor.

I sent many months running International "Ms & Super Ms" through the fields in Nebraska during my younger days. They were the finest tractors of the era, far outclassing the two cylinder John Deere's and other competitors. The engine was superlative as was everything else about this tractor. Whoa There, can’t let that awful comment slide πŸ‘ŽπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜‡. We were green, the neighbors were red and orange. Because we exchanged work, (1 combine,1 baler,1 chopper and shared field work). Thousands of Johnny Popper hours created a love that still exists. Will say the reds were smoother and more operator friendly. Both superior to orange IMHO. But the throb and sound of two coffee cans under heavy load can still raise goose bumps, sorry we have to disagree. πŸ˜‡
