My dad bought a new M in 1951. It was an excellent tractor then, probably one of the best tractor we ever had, but 17 years later it was no good for anything. My brother traded it in for a 4010, which has been traded in for a Case IH.

Whoa There, canβt let that awful comment slide πππ. We were green, the neighbors were red and orange. Because we exchanged work, (1 combine,1 baler,1 chopper and shared field work). Thousands of Johnny Popper hours created a love that still exists. Will say the reds were smoother and more operator friendly. Both superior to orange IMHO. But the throb and sound of two coffee cans under heavy load can still raise goose bumps, sorry we have to disagree. π
I can remember when my father went OKC an exchanged the IRON SPTKE wheels for rubber wheels & tires. the first in the are. The picture brings back memories. Very good series Thanks
