they are the only warbler that regularly eats seeds. they love peanut butter suet too.
Great Job!! Love these pics, one of our favorite little feathered friends......a good number are visiting here to, keeping the Painted Buntings company at our feeders!! Thanks for sharing!
Tip for home bird feeder folks - while all the "snowbirds" are here (in Florida) and nesting (or will be), many of our regulars are nesting (or will be)....during this time we put a little high quality cat food "mini kibble" in another feeder.... it is hugely popular with the large and small birds - Woodpeckers/Blue Jays/Grackles/Wrens/Titmice/Catbirds!! and others think it's "da bomb", and very nutricious for the young and old alike. We do not fill the feeder, only enough for a meal or two each day...and besides, if you leave it overnight, a Raccoon visit and even feeder theft is going to happen...I have had to track down that feeder several times. Another great feature, squirrels do not like it!!!!!!!!!! Hooray!!

thank you very much, mikey for your nice comment, and lucky you to have the painted buntings around too...a bird i have never seen around here. your tip about cat food too is interesting and i think i will put a little out and
see what happens. anything the squirrels don't like is something i will try...lol. i have lost suet feeders in the past and imagine it was a racoon...i learned to do a better job of attaching the feeder onto the shepard's hook!

MT na awesome set and the colors of a pine warbler always amaze me. The DDLs are all nice and sharp.

Good shots of these little beauties. We have had sooo many birds these last few very cold days. Even 4 bluebirds that actually sit in the window feeder to eat. Know what they are pigging on? Your suet. Refill several times a day.
Very nice set of a cute bird, MT!

Great series MT. Like them all. Amazing how some birds will only eat certain seeds, peanut butter, suet!
Well done.
Nice set, great way to spend time!
