A few shots of this hawk hunting above a field near the
Arkansas River. I was shooting with Auto-ISO and was
surprised that these two shots were shot at ISO-64,
the ISO range was (64-1250).
Here were all my basic settings -
D850 with 500mm PF
S/S - 1/800
Fstop - F/5.6
ISO - 64
These are SOOC JPEG shot a focal distance of about 130ft
I did crop these quite a bit to try and improve composition.
Great captures. Especially like the second one - the low ISO makes for a very clean image. Please stay safe and keep on sharing.
Thank you Cindy, I feel lucky to have seen her and was able
to get a quick burst before she was gone.

Thank you Ourspolair. These two shots were 1 frame apart, the same second.

Lovely! Her face really is owl like!
Very nice. #2 is sharper and I like it better for that reason.
Very nice. The first shot clearly shows the resemblance to an Owl's face which is characteristic of the harrier.

Thank you Marg. The harriers not only hunt by sight but also
hearing, like a owl.
