The first few are with the "kit" 28-70mm lens. Then I received the 14mm Samyang manual lens from a UHH member. Most of these are SOOC jpegs (to keep me honest :)). Two were .arw files processed in ON1.
When reviewing these images (along with the raw versions), it became abundantly clear to me that the camera-generated 8-bit jpeg just does not do justice to the image sensor on this camera. So much more information in the "uncompressed" raw file. If you look at the EXIF data, the FE 4-5.6 28-60mm is unrecognized by ON1, so it shows as "Unknown", but the ƒno. and FL are shown. My next posts will be all pp'd raw files, reduced for compliance to sRGB jpegs.
As always, I am open to critiques/criticisms and comments.

The first is highly appealing to me for the light and textures, the second for the serenity of the scene.

These are very nice. Processing raw definitely has rewards!

Beautiful shots! You, obviously, are doing one fantastic job of "learning..."

Humble thanks, Stan. Camera and Mother Nature take most of the credit.

The sun was working in my favour - the golds were amazing. Thanks for looking, Linda, and for the positive vibes.

Yup - and this sensor seems to have a great dynamic range. Thanks for looking, Carol, and for the positive input.

Thanks for the positive input. I hope to be able to continue on the curve and (if my brain complies) to apply what I learn moving forward. This is quite an advanced piece of hardware, so "mastery" is some way off...
