Forgive me, but I am an absolute fanatic about form, content and spelling when it comes to writing. When I first read your heading for your post, I thought, "Well here is another one who doesn't take the few seconds to proofread". Then I checked google maps and sure enough Louth is the name of a community in eastern England. So, is it pronounced like 'south' with an 'L' or Looth, as in some French influence on the word?
