My mother was Irish and my father was Scottish which means that I like to drink but I don't like to pay for it..!😊

ingenious!! I had to laugh, though, as it is quite easy to do.

I was going to say the same ... there is a BIG difference between the two, cheapskates usually pay more in the end because their cheapness causes them to buy inferior products, which in turn fail prematurely so they have to replace them.

Oh, that is just wrong! Funny and true, but wrong ...

...like I am? My Scottish nature I guess. If you shoot wildlife with a big white Canon L lens you really need to use a camo sleeve of some type. You can spend $70 or more(on Amazon) or you can go to a sporting goods store & buy a child's camouflage T-shirt for $10, cut the sleeve off & slip it over the lens.

Don't know about "cheapskate". Sounds more like someone using their head for more than a hat rack, seeing an idea, and going with it.

I don't know if there's a page limit for UHH, but dpreview has a post limit. 150 posts maximum on a thread. Here's a thread that went to 150 in spite of having less substance than this one started with.

Have you ever seen a t-shirt with a sleeve that length? you can go to a material store and purchase camo material in what ever amount you need. I agree a t-shirt would be softer.

You can get it in stretch material too at any fabric store...

That is not an example of cheapness, it is an example of creativity!

Wow! That out-frugals every suggestion so far (you don't have any Scottish ancestry by any chance?) .

And that person could then sell the t-shirt to the parents of a kid with no arms.

I'm not cheap, I've just been running short ever since I retired, and someone keeps stealing my t-shirts!
LOL
Not all camo is created equal. It may hide you from humans, but a lot of fabrics and dyes reflect light is such a way it looks like a neon sign to animals. But I guess I'd rather be hidden from humans anyway, so maybe a moot point.
