Street Photography is the genre, Boardwalk Photography is the location. So you did some really good Street while strolling on the Boardwalk! A good image to post here, showing "life" on the Boardwalk.

But that meaning of "street" is not what Street Photography refers to. It isn't a road, it's a community. Note that a boardwalk is a place, and that may l be a well defined little community too.
Street Photography just requires that we find the relationships between humanity and the environment ("the environment" is the definition/boundary of the community).
