I LOVE this lens! cheap yes, plastic yes, but the photographs that I get with this thing...crisp, clear. LOVE IT, it is my go to lens, especially for portraits. Read the reviews on Amazon about it, most people LOVE it!. No zoom ability of course, but then again I like to use my feet to "zoom" in.

I couldn't agree more, I'm still amazed at the sharpness this lens produces, I use mine mainly for flowers. For the price you can not go wrong.

I agree. I bought it a couple of months ago and really like it. :)

I bought mine because of all the rave reviews here and elsewhere....for the price, I find it extraordinary, albeit a little noisy in the focusing. But who cares? Great, sharp photos!

If you ever have the need to manually focus - it is a challenge to do so with this lens ! - otherwise OK.
