Thank you, i recently recieved a gift of my first good camera from my Hubby.., its a Nikon D5100 and the lens that came with it is all i have at moment.. its 18- 55. I am really new to it and playing around a bit.., i need to go on a photography course.

The colors are so vibrant and the combination of red and green reminds that Christmas is not so far away.

I think you're already on a damned good photography course. Just don't quit on the homework.

Don't panic Junifer, just a step at a time.
Go snap happy by never leaving the camera behind
Practice, practice and practice.
Watch, learn from those help experts on UHH and then, go practice again.
Before you know it, you'll become confident enough, creative enough and by shooting and asking on UHH, you will learn even more - don't just ask questions though, submit examples with questions - those expert photographers on the forum will interpret lots from those images.
