For years I had a pair of Nikon Binoculars. All I remember for sure is that they were zoom and had a silver soft case. :-) At some point a couple of years back they just vanished. I've decided that borrowing Mom's 7 x 20 doesn't cut it anymore. Anybody have a suggestion for a good quality zoom that's not too pricey?

Adam, Nikon makes a great zoom Binocular. About $146

Thanks!
do you know what the difference between the Nikon 8-24x25 Sportstar and the Nikon 8-24x25 Aculon T11 is? Apparently the Aculon are fog and waterproof but the Sportstar aren't?

Ah. I went to the Nikon site and the Aculon T11 are archived and B&H doesn't actually have any.
