At Nikon I was told it is out of stock and I should buy it from B&H or Adorama. I went through the whole story with them including that I had a similar problem when I originally bought the complete release, all 3 parts. I still don't have one.

Buy another and solve your problem.

BOO HOO HOO. Yet another dirty laundry post. Please go somewhere else, have another drink, sleep it off.
Better yet, grow up and put on some big boy pants.
You could have, at any time, gone to ebay and had your pick of them, instead of coming here and wining about it. So, little boy, here you go, buy whatever you like and go away.

I lost one, somehow unscrewed during a photo shoot and fell off. I didn't realize it till I got home and was cleaning the body and I noticed it missing. Went back to the site to no avail. Thankfully I was able to reorder a new one. Good Luck.

Here's an inexpensive remote that will work on your D850. I have an older version of this and it works flawlessly on my D800e and D850.

I don’t really understand what your problem with Nikon and B&H customer service is. The part you want is not available. They don’t have one to sell you. A customer service problem is if they have one to sell you and they won’t. Or they sell you one they don’t have. It is also not uncommon for online retailers to not ship to general delivery or P.O. Boxes. If that is their policy that is not their problem that is your problem. Several others have posted the part is available on eBay. Seems to me the only problem is you just weren’t looking very hard for the part you want.

There are several potential reasons B&H won't ship to general delivery. First, increased possibility of CC fraud or, second, their payment processor won't accept it and finally, they use Fedex. How does Fedex find "general delivery?"

Don't make problems in your life

To avoid issues with general delivery, do one of the following.

1. Rent PO BOX
2. Rent a box at a UPS store. They will give you a street address and a suite number (really a box).

If you pay by credit card you have to have a billing address. Use it and forward as you like.

Make solutions not problems for yourself.

Thanks but they will not ship to general delivery,

Have it sent to someone with a real address that is close to you.

I have two sets of these and one was a problem. Returned it to Nikon, out of warrantee, and was offered a replacement at MSRP. I believe these may have been problematic and am eagerly waiting for the replacement model. I'm not sure how you expect either Nikon USA or B&H to send/sell you something that is not available as that is surely unreasonable. When this system works, which is most of the time, it really works nicely and makes easy work of photographing inside sports. Best of luck.

I don't know why you are faulting B&H and Adorama, since it sounds like Nikon hasn't kept that item stocked and supplied their retailers with them.

In this case, Google is your friend. A quick "shopping" search found 3 pages of retailers offering AR-A10:
