We've all seen hundreds of photos of Monument Valley and Rainbow Bridge. Here's some photos of famous canyon country sights ween from a totally different perspective. The photo of Rainbow Bridge is taken from 400 feet above it from the top of the cliffs to it's east - I suspect no one has ever photographed it from there. The Monument Valley photo is from VERY rarely visited (by non Navajos) Skeleton Mesa from a 30 day backpack we did there a few years ago, as is the Keet Seel (largest Anasazi Ruin in Arizona). Halls Creek Narrows is a beautiful spot in Capitol Reef National Park, that only backpackers can see. Here's a photo looking down into it from the top of the domes that it cuts through (you can see my hiking partners a little dots on the right side of the photo). Stay tuned for some more tomorrow. As always these are best viewed as downloads.
Absolutely amazing in download. So glad you were a good photographer on this trek.
Gorgeous. Thanks for sharing these rare images. Great captures and excellent rendering. Please stay safe over the holidays and keep on sharing.

Wow! Great set. I especially like the third one.
I just noticed the two hikers in the last photo. Really gives perspective. They’re on a shelf on the right side of the image.
