For those who are married, you all know that one of the most dangerous sport is to disagree with your wife...
Today my better (?) half purchased a plant. I did not say anything.
Later I realized that is was no-where to be seen and I asked...
- Where is THAT plant?
- In the spare bedroom.
I quietly went back to my office. NO ONE goes there but once or twice a year.
Crisis averted.

Your wife goes in to clean the room and water "that" plant at least once every 2 weeks. You just don't notice cause guys don't notice about 78% of what their wives do. Maybe 86%. Yes, I made up those numbers, but they're still correct. 😁

OK, now I'm curious... and speculative... perhaps the "plant" is a "Christmas cactus"... a cool and dark environment encourages it to bloom...
... admire the blooms when/if presented... and say no more...

I complimented my wife on the beautiful hanging baskets she had put in our kitchen. She coldly explained that they had been hanging there for two months.....just next to where I eat every day.

Hah! At least your wife is only dealing with hanging baskets. According to my husband, we have buildings popping up all over in our neighborhood. This happens, literally, overnight. Some of them have been there for 15 YEARS! But if I buy so much as an extra battery or memory card - well, that he notices immediately. Buildings - not so much.

Didn't see that one coming. Many years ago, my husband gave me a real surprise for Mothers' Day - a new Honda lawn mower. And, yes, we are still married. He plans great trips!!
